I believe if your employee has:

1.     The enough knowledge of his job duties and responsibilities.

2.       The enough knowledge of the required (SMART) objectives from his side to deliver and how these achievements will be measured and rewarded.

3.       The enough knowledge about his career path which will serve his ambitious and growth.

4.       The right supervisor who will motivate, guide, support him.

5.       The right salary package compare to the market.

6.       The right training programs which will enhance his skills and capabilities

 

This employee surely will think a lot before taking the decision to resign, in addition to this employers can seek developing a retention and engaging program
