Growth Hacking is a modern Marketing techniique integrating Creative thinking, Technology, Innovative marketing ideas.  Popularising their product at the lowest minimum cost and reaching the message beyond horizons-though the marketing side involves certain socio economic cultural problems.  The success of one, generally induces their counterparts or followers to go through the same line some more innovative way. In my opinion it creates head-ache to the State(s), compared to the advantage received.  Social medias are very much used.....

Growth and Hacking that can be interpreted  in the general way.

I do agree with mr. Vrindavan, that it is a a new marketing method that utilizes new technologies to hack growth with low costs and usually doesn't need much marketing experience, start-ups do not even need someone to build or manage a marketing team, nor do they need to set a strategic marketing plan or corporate objectives. All what start-ups need is just GROWTH.

Dropbox is a good example, when it announces that you can get extra storage (16Gb) by inviting friends to Dropbox. (By the way, the man behind Dropbox is Sean Ellis, who is also the one who introduced the term Growth Hacking)
