B/L IS A RECEIPT OF GOODS BY THE SHIPPING CO. WITH AGREEMENT TO DELIVER AT DESTINATION TO THE ONLY PARTY THE B/L IS CONSIGNED TO.  SO B/L IS A TITLE DOCUMENT.

WHEREAS AIRWAY BILL IS SIMPLY A RECEIPT OF GOODS BY THE AIRLINE OR AGENT SHOWING PLACE OF DELIVERY.  BUT AIRWAY BILL IS NOT A TITLE DOCUMENT.

air way bill refers to document for air shipped products,it is differs according to whether it is issued by the air line itself(called master=mawb),or been issued by a freight forwarder or agent(third party)(called house =hawb)

also it is issued inculded the rate of charges for the shippement & whom it is billed to .

bill of lading refers to document issued for sea shipped cargos , also differs whether been issued by the marine line it self(mbil)or third party issue(hbil)
