What is the main difference between Airway Bill and Bill of Lading?

B/L IS A RECEIPT OF GOODS BY THE SHIPPING CO. WITH AGREEMENT TO DELIVER AT DESTINATION TO THE ONLY PARTY THE B/L IS CONSIGNED TO.  SO B/L IS A TITLE DOCUMENT.

WHEREAS AIRWAY BILL IS SIMPLY A RECEIPT OF GOODS BY THE AIRLINE OR AGENT SHOWING PLACE OF DELIVERY.  BUT AIRWAY BILL IS NOT A TITLE DOCUMENT.

Airway bill is the evidence of received material and track record Landing document bill carrirs with permit NOC approvals from Local Authority

AWB refers to Shipment through Air

BL is refer to shipments by Sea 

THe Bill of Lading is for land transportation

 THe Airway Bill of Lading is for air transportation

air way bill refers to document for air shipped products,it is differs according to whether it is issued by the air line itself(called master=mawb),or been issued by a freight forwarder or agent(third party)(called house =hawb)
