About social determinants of health. The social determinants of health are the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work and age. These circumstances are shaped by the distribution of money, power and resources at global, national and local levels.And to the place where I grow and I came from Social determinants of health are those critical characteristics of societies and communities in which people live that have an impact on their health.  These include the level of education, water and sanitation, housing, employment, food production, among others.
