Do you or do you not lie your current salary when you are in a job interview to achieve high expected salary?

Why do that when one could know the industry standards and own value?

Salary Expectation is based on the candidate performance, experience & present salary status. 

I do not lie about my salary, It may lead to loss the job I will introduce to it. 

No, because once your employer ask for your recent payslip and they found you were lying...it may lead to termination. 

If you want to increase your salary, the key is to negotiate and highlight your skills on why they should provide you a higher salary thatn that of your recent employer!

Do not lie because it would be known by the employer.

You may answer something like this:

I was compensated well and in line with job market conditions.
