How do you define your purpose as a business leader?

I personally take the word "purpose" at a higher level than the word "goal" .. Hence, I may say my purpose is to win the (football match), and to achieve this I need to score3+ goals ! Or even at a higher level .. my purpose is to be the champ in this contest, and to do this, I have to win the next6 matches or at least get a draw in2 of them. So, the purpose in this case is more aligned to the long term end status that you want to reach.  It is more related to the destination where you want to go, and it is also related to "how" to get there between different philosophies and schools between pragmatism, ethics, legalities, liabilities, moral obligations, values, ... etc .. etc.

I am not a business leader but the purpose of any leader should be to bring valued contributions to his organization and the community.

It's company's success which brings in profits to shareholders, growing career for employees which leads to talent retention (employee satisfaction), and a continous growth in business every year..

purpose is the path that you want to take , which is bigger than aim , goal or mission .

 its a long term phenomenon in which the leader make a role and responsibility and at the end check wheather his or her being has served the cause or not ....
