Yes, because:

2- Create and capture new demand.

3- Align the whole system in pursuit of differentiation and low cost.

Furthermore, I would say that technology innovation is a second-level thing (among other types of innovation) after the fist/promary innovation is done on the marketing/sales/busdiness development side .

Creating your own blue ocean is basically identifying your own markets/customers where you do not have to fight competition and enter aggressive price wars to get a share of the market !!
