Mass communication is manly used as a way to increase or get the most possible amount of exposure for a brand/ product among a common, standard audience.

On one hand it's usualy used to showcase a new launching of a certain brand/product, where it will ignite the spark in interested customers to gain their attention and motivate them to look up further details about the brand/product.
