In Word 2010, how do I delete a table of contents?

1. Switch to the References tab and, locate the Table of Contents section.

 

2. Select the Table of Contents option.

3. Scroll down to Remove Table of Contents from the drop down menu displayed.

First select table and go layout and click delete

1. select the table tools 2 click the layout  and then go to select table and delete all table
