Arriving vessels should drop anchors at Pilot station and inform the harbour control.

In general, the allocation of berth depends upon the following main criteria:

* accepting the Notice of readiness

* vessel' measurments

* vessel is a regular line or spot call

* type of cargo (dangerous, specialized, roro, etc)

*congestion of the port

* first arrived first berthed

based on above the person responsible for will decide taking into account his local port rules & condition
