If it is screw retained type, at first remove the filling material in screw hole and then retighten the cover screw. Then after removal a broken prosthodontic component, remake or exchange with new component.

Try in the new one and if it will fit well, then resetting the correct position and tighten the cover screw anf fill the hole.
