What would you do if you are offered a good job in another country and your employer tries to prevent you from leaving by reviewing your package?

I will take my time to reply and respond why i needed to go stating my ambitions, dreams etc because my resignation must leave a good impression. I can never know when I might need a recommendation or professional connection from the employer I am about to leave, so it's worthwhile for me to spend a little time preparing some gracious phrasing, cogent reasons and explanation for my resignation.
