Event coordinator

We're not talking local events like parties and weddings. A job coordinating large-scale events like festivals and trade shows could be a golden opportunity for travel lovers. Meet with potential vendors from across the country, then travel to the event location to help oversee everything from setup to break-down. A search for "trade show coordinator" on Career Builder returns more than250 jobs in a variety of cities, so start sending in that résumé.

Consultant

Companies hire consultants to fix specific problems. Because their knowledge is so specialized, a consultant’s client base is often spread all over the country (or even around the world). Maintaining a positive relationship with clients requires regular on-site visits, making it a perfect job for people who love frequent travel.

Management Analysts

Management analysts are basically consultants for organizations. They work together to help analysts make more money, while minimizing any wastes and inefficiencies that are present. This “fine-tuning” is a great asset to any organization, making this job pretty valuable.

As most management analysts work contractually, they may find they need to travel often to meet up with new clients. There’s a lot of back and forth involved in meeting new clients and working with old ones, so Management Analysts will definitely be moving around a lot.

Travel Consultant

These careers include consulting services of many varieties—international safety, travel public relations, marketing of travel based products. If you have an interest in travel, there is likely a consulting practice you could enter. Here’s a particularly interesting source- Nolan Burris, the founder of www.nolanburris.com and also www.futureprooftravel.com. He’s made a business of helping current and prospective professionals in the travel industry develop the skills and the strategies to ensure their careers remain vital and relevant for many seasons to come.

English teacher

A benefit of speaking one of the world’s most popular languages is that there are people all over the world who want to learn it. Teaching English in a foreign country is one of the easiest ways to get out and see the world. Many teaching positions in foreign countries do require a certification, but you can easily get one in about a month’s time.
