How do you prefer shopping online or by visiting supermarkets?

For me i love visiting supermarkets always..

I love to go to supermarkets and up to now the only buy I did online is airplaine tickets and hotel booking. I think that the best way for a shopper to have the higher satisfaction from a purchase is to make it himself/herself. You must see the products and choose from them or try a piece of clothing or shoes. Online purchasing doesn't offer you the feeling of touching and trying for yourself. So, I'm100% for the physical presence to the stores!

I kind of like both, for different things and reasons.  Stores are good for the sales expertise, trying out something, like clothing, and for the social aspect.  On-line you can do a lot of research: for prices, quality, features, and so on.

For necessity goods, I always like to see what I am buying in real life and if it’s food, preferably even smell it’s freshness in the air! (unless ordering delivery food online in time of extreme hunger, draught and laziness!)

For other (non-necessity) products, it really depends on the degree of credibility of the e-commerce site and of the showcase of the products offered and their attributes and specs etc. I bought all kinds of products online, from TV’s to PC’s to Home Gyms. Generally speaking, I trust e-commerce in an “e-commerce-mature” market.

I still give more importance to physical store beside more affordability and convenience of online shopping and one of few reason is satisfaction that helps in making decision.

I prefer both.

For daily needs (groceries) I prefer going to the supermarket for quality purpose. You can hand pick the items yourself.

For long term products (Appliances & equipments) I would shop online.

My be I'm an old vasion guy, I prefer to shop personally at least I can see and touch the product before I buy it.  I believe that others will do the same, especially with supermarkt products. Online shopping is getting more popularity the last time with other products than food. I believe ith will take some time before people  start to trust online shopping.

Mostly i prefer to visit supermarket for shopping.

Sometime i prefer online shopping for branded products.

I personally prefer to shop myself; I enjoy the experience, the visuals, the smells, the people (but that is also because I have the privilege of having the time to go out and grocery shop as my work schedule is very flexible).  However, E-Shopping is very convenient in today's day and age as both marital partners tend to be career oriented and have little or no time to go shopping.

People of higher age group who want to have a feel of the product or for whom online advise is less important to suggestions from friends would prefer thesuper market. The younger group who surf the net more often would prefer the net. Now a days even fresh vegetables are available on the net.
