Although I have not worked as a help desk manager in the Middle East, I can answer this question based on experience in help desk environments overseas. In my opinion, the toughest part would be dealing with non-complying upper management staff. I find it easy to deal with coworkers, staff, and customers, however, when it comes to upper management, most members expect immediate solutions and hence it makes it hard to solve the issue.
