Attitude. Very often happens that people have a lot of experience, working in the company for several years and did not receive a promotion to a higher position. What is the problem? In your attitude. If your boss / boss sees that you are a negative attitude to the current work, how come you have promoted? Show your commitment, prove that you are on the side of his superior, and that he can always count on you. Besides, it is very important that you agree with the philosophy of the company and have a positive attitude to achieve its intended goals. If you aspire to managerial position, you must remember that it is important to demonstrate to motivating and inspiring others - these are the qualities that should characterize a person in a potential position mendżera team.    Dutifulness and devotion and professional ethics. Sometimes excessive showing of duty can be read as bragging or making noise about himself. What's it going? The head can see that you get it really only adherence to the timeliness of tasks, and do not you bring your attitude and work nothing new. Too dedicated staff, doing a lot on the show, they are not appreciated by his superiors. Your boss will think carefully whether you really Your attitude and work is worthy of a promotion, or just pretend loyal and dedicated employee. The point is not to be as available 24 hours a day,7 days a week. It is more about the pursuit of the objectives with determination and diligence, as well as the treatment posed tasks ahead as the challenges we must meet with an optimistic and professional approach. Lizusostwu and over have shown to "loyalty" we, therefore, definitely not.    Teamwork. Any company or corporation has its own internal policies concerning cooperation between departments, sections, or individuals. Superior before his promotion you certainly pay attention, you have clout in the group and whether you are liked and respected. This is not about office friendships or dealings with the boss, but your position on the team and how you are perceived in him. Your boss thinks in terms of whether it will get along well with people? Is there a respected and can count on their support and hard work? If these features are characteristic of you, then you should be calm, that promotion will get sooner or later.    The current position. If the current position "leserujesz", put aside everything that you do on your job and then you can judge that is "half-heartedly", it is rather forget about promotion. Every boss wants to make sure that the person entrusted higher position cope with new responsibilities and tasks. So if you are a conscientious and dedicated work, and punctuality is your middle name, then you have a good chance of success. Your boss needs to know 100% that you check up on meetings with contractors on business trips where you represented the interests of the company and the management of administrative, for example, when budgeting funds.

Thank you for your invitation. I have to agree with all of the answers posted here. But I will just give emphasis on 'Attitude'. Your attitude will dictate the path that you will have in your future. So always have a positive attitude towards your goal. Avoid all the negativity and just be optimistic. It will not hurt to take risks sometime, but also know that your way towards success will also involve other people along the way. There is no such thing as a self-made success. So surround yourself with good and professional people and be thankful for even the little contributions that they have given you to become a better person. Knowledge, experiences, and skills will be useless if you don't have the right attitude in using it.

Success in a certain job needs a full dedication and understanding of the job. A person should be focusing on every details related to his/her job like his relation with other employees, his timing, his attitude which should always be positive. What is most important is to never link between the salary we get and the job we do. Instead consider each job as a challenge, a test, a barrier to cross. Moreover, creating a friendly environment.

Also a person should not be like all time worried about end of work hours and need to go home. Instead he must have work as priority especially if there is something urgent and clients are waiting.
