What is the difference between Black box and white box testing?

Black Box Testing: A tester does not need any knowledge of any programming knowledge or the internal structure of the application. He must know what the application is supposed to do not how.

White Box Testing: A tester/developer must have the knowledge of internal structure of the application and he must know how the application should work

BLACK BOX TESTING : this testing is done by the professional testing enginer by just looking into the application i.e without knowing the flow or logic of the coding

WHITE BOX TESTING: IT is done by testing or developer engineer who has the coding knowledge
