Workforce diversity is an expression which is used more and more these days. It quite simply tells us that in today's multinational, multicultural society there is a very "diverse"range of employees. Different nationalities, cultures, colours, creeds, religions and genders to name but a few!! Employers now have to be very "sensitive" in the way that they treat their workforce, what might be the norm for a Christian might possibly offend a Muslim and so on and so forth. Mistakes will of course happen but commonsense should be applied by both employers and employees, their is no reason why we can't all live in harmony regardless of any "diversity" issues.

If I call my company a multinational ready to scoop up oppertunity in any part of the world then it is essential to have a diversified work force. Now if I am just to all my emploees irrespective of gender and race there should not be any problem. Knowledge of different cultures and customs would give an added advantage. I think people who come from ancient and diverse cultural back ground like Egypt, China,Turkey and India and have a western education can best cope with a diverse workforce.
