For me PHOTOSHOP is the best for photo editing cause you can easyly manipulated photo by using different tecnique

it depends on what are you trying to edit in the photo.. example. for editing light and dhadows in the photo.. the best is adobe light room.. but usually adobe photoshop can help you do any thing you desire in a photo... i sometimes use illustrator in editing some photos.

First of all I am working at Lightroom for general editing and simple touch. After that I am working at Photoshop. These are best for workflow. If you are beginner you can find many tutorial and personel experience on web and its very important.

I'd say Online image editor is the coolest if you want to do the tid-bits of your picture.
