Learnable is also good but its paid but  belive me its worth to invest on Learnable they have lot of good books and Videos related to Wordpress , Drupal and other relvant topics 

One more thing i can suggest you without any Task / Target its some time hard to learn anything so just make your mind you want to create XYZ with Wordpress or Drupal and start work during this process you will find lot of small issues which you can Google and one by one you will get details  /solution about specific issues , this way is faster then any other method.
