Bcz we are very close to our native language and we can explain more easily  and with comfort :)

teaching in native language always gives you edge to make your views more clear and understandable to the students because the ease you have to converse in the native language is much more than in any other laguage. but it can only be possible if the students are also comfortable with it and there is not any restriction on language of instruction to be used.

If the instruction is for that same language, fair and fine.If however instruction is for another language it is a NO NO.Why l say so is because one tends to get inclined to the language used to give instruction than the language they are supposed to learn. No or little progress is thus made in making the purpose acquire the intended language.
