It's the same but from different companies, Adobe illustrator is more advanced I think and you can share your work directly with other Adobe applications, Corel Draw is amazing easy and gets the job done perfectly... personaly I use corel draw for most of my work and sometimes I use Illustrator if I needed to use my work in After Effect or something like that
