I prefer reading and writing short stories, long stories are always greater but they take a lot of effort and time to finish,

If I were a writer , I would prefer a short story as I prefer it as a reader. It doesn't take much time to read and in most cases it is simple and the moral is clear

A story is an account of the persons experience with life. They build their story as they proceed with life making an important caption and short or long anecdotes which help others understand their humble or rich beginnings and successful endeavours. I enjoy long and short stories because I take pleasure in reading their accounts of life and respecting them.

Short stories.

To be able to create a short story, and a reader gets a message from that story, this is truly one of the highest artistic accomplishments you can have.

Go big or Go nothing at all? Nope. Totally vice versa in writing. It's always good to write short stories to attract readers. But writing long ones will give you experience on character building. It's a70/30 short stories to me.

Personally , as a writer , short stories are better , as a reader according to the writer himself , sometimes long stories are epic and sometimes short stories are even better.

Personally, I like to write short stories. However, I have always been thought as a journalism student to add more color to my reporting. That results in me writing long stories.

That's why I don't like my editors they shrink my stories to smitheries.

I do admit that ever since I started in multimedia journalism which has been a while. My stories have become shorter for, they are accompanied by images and infographics sometimes Youtube content.
