Must be in the following path when the installation is C: \\ Program Files \\ Adobe \\ Adobe Photoshop CS6 \\ Plug-Ins \\ Filters
Filters are installed in a "plug-ins" folder. you should go to your installation folder (..:programs/Adobe/photoshop/presets/... ) and place the contents of "plug-in" in the "plug-ins"folder. Then they will appear in the filter menu below. (relaunch photoshop of course) Have fun :)
Theres a3rd party plugins that serves a filters too like onesoftware, niksoftware, portrait proffessionals and etc.once you install them they will serve as filters in adobe photoshop which will also help to enhance your work. Also extension you can intall it through Adobe Extension Manager,3d has also a plugins as long it is updated or you have an acount to creative cloud..
