The answer is NO. The most important thing to consider while choosing a social media platform is to see whether your target audience are using that channel or not.
So for example, say, you are offering a service or product that caters to teenage buyers. In this case, you will find sites like Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook to be better options than Twitter. Why? Simply because they have a greater number of teenage users than Twitter.
Knowing where your target audience hangs out is one of the most important things that can eventually make or break even the greatest of marketing strategies.
