Hello Syed,

This way of charging can be called WPT (Wireless Power Transmission), by means of transmitting electromagnetic waves which is a form of energy with three most conditions needed in order to fulfill : short distance medium ( case of charger), receiver and Transmitter (i.e antennas , smart cards, etc...). Simply as microwave oven and many other designs.

Wave is Energy, Electromegnetic waves are used to tranfer energy from a transmitter antenna to a receiver antenna. At receiving end, the antenna collects the electromagnetic waves and transfer this energy to capacitors to store the energy through it's circuitry.

Electronic devices can be charged wirelessly via an electromagnetic field, using a transmitter and a receiver.

To understand how wireless power chargers work, we need to take a look at how magnetism and electricity are related.
