the most important reason why you would want to do a market reasearch before you do a design is because you want to be sure that you are understanding your audeince before giving them anything. It is important to understand their social and cultural differences and similarities while designing as this can hurt peoples sentiments and that is not good. is it now?

I think every web designer should understand the importance of market research before starting a web design project. Nothing stands still, just like in web design, trends and chips are constantly changing, and a great web designer needs to always be in step with the times, so to speak. I noticed templates, fonts and scripts are updated very often On the site https://masterbundles.com/templates/presentations/powerpoint/nature/ web designers should take note of it as a source of ideas that follows the changing trends.

Absolutely, as a designer, entrepreneur or blogger some market research is required.

And I will tell you why? Website visitors and app users have very little attentions spans and tolerance for website and app workflows.

They are always looking at online websites which have very short learning curves. If its just content heavy website and not an online functioning portal. As a UX/UI designer a website learning curve (how much time it takes one to figure out the navigation of a website) should be no more than3 minutes.

If you do your market research on UI/UX of what your competitors have done, there is a high chance users will want to:

  • come back
  • stay longer on your website.

and you want them to visit your site3-4 times a day if that is possible.

Things that you need to consider as part of your market research should be the following:

  • Workflow
  • Navigation habits
  • Colors
  • Keywords (part of SEO/SEM market research)
  • Website loading times
  • Javascript and CSS compatibility with browsers.

Of course, there are others but you specifically asked about design, so I will not mention those.

Please do share your feedback.

yes, its one of the main elements for business marketing and reseacrh criterias
