It must be a WIN-WIN situation. PERIOD.

Customers are a necessity for any business to thrive. Working to close a deal with just our winning position in mind might give us a few customers in the short term but would affect our credibility in the long term and result in fewer closures in the future. Whereas a winning position for the customer is also not advisable as it would not be  a sustainable mode of business for the company. The only way of closing a ethical deal, should be a win win situation for both the customer and the company. That would ensure repeat business and goodwill for the company.

In my opinion when i try to crack a deal , i try to make the deal as both party of us is winning . that brings more satisfaction from the other party. And i get a long term collaboration with that party. Through this company gets a high margin profit also.
