"G" force is described as a force acting on a "body" as a result of acceleration or gravity. Informally it is classified in units of acceleration equal to1"G". eg an object that weighs10 kilos when subjected to a force of4G effectively becomes40 kilos! Extremes of "G" are more commonly experienced in jet fighters or even F1 racing cars where high speeds/acceleration are normal. The effects of "G" can also be felt during rapid deceleration, if you were sat in a car, without a seat belt and the car, travelling at50kms per hour came to a "dead" stop, you would be thrown forward and hit the windscreen at the speed you were travelling before it stopped ie50kms per hour!!
