www.raz-kids.com is a great website for reading English. The short stories are interestingly read by a narrator in on part (with some animation), the stories are read by the student him/herself in another part and a short quiz is given to test comprehension is given in yet another part. The reading books are different levels from A to Z, and the student goes up in levels as they complete the books of each level. For each "task", the student receives a set number of points or "stars" that can be used to "purchase" different items like robots, items to put on shelves and furniture for a space room that the student can keep like a trophy room on the website. It is great. The students get interested and spend hours reading and listening to stories. The quizes prove they were listening and comprehending what they read/heard.
