I believe that it's a serious problem if your child is being bullied at school, it could make a bad impact on his character as a child and later as a grown up, so my advice would be that you need to coach your child on how to react on these situations, bullies tend to pick on people who they can get a reaction from, also it would be a good idea if you find a teacher in your child's school who can help and give support, after all it's the teacher's responsibility to stop bullying in school.

Well, I think the first reaction would be is to admit I am a careless mother, it is really bad if a child is constantly bullied and his mother does not know. She must take a multi track solution to stop it and help the child recover.

Identifying the factors due to which the child gets all this, helping him develope and improve them so that he can outshine the expectations of the fellows, making him understand and learn not to act the way others did else there will be no difference left and just asking him to thank God everytime for everything blessed.

Bullying is a fact of life. It has always been around, and will probably always be around. Even so, it does have a prominent effect on children who are bullied; and urgent steps must be taken to stop it.

Parents can do a lot to ensure that their children aren't bullies and don't become bullies by simply nurturing their children and by openly discussing topics related to the feelings of other people and how it feels to be laughed at and picked on. By giving children love and a bit of "sensitivity training", and by letting them know your expectations of their behavior, a lot can be instilled into children.

A child who is bullied and who has been taught that bullying is not right will be faced with great difficulties. Parents must always listen to their children and investigate their strange behavior or "sicknesses", as these can be giant red flags that indicate a bully has been hard at work. When parents are aware that someone has been bullying their child or any child, action must be swift. The bullied child should be made to understand that bullying is not right or acceptable, and a teacher or principal must be informed of the situation so that steps can be taken to neutralize the bullying behavior. It is not acceptable or conducive to learning for a child to feel uncomfortable or unsafe at school.
