First thing is water treatment mainly involwed big tanks therefore should be aware of were you are going and not to fall in to them.

Second thing is chemicals. To teat water so many chemicals are used, if microbiological treatment is thre first thing is to balance pH. for that if pH is high to reduce it Alum is using. If pH is low to increse Caustic soda is using. They are hazardus. So when carry these chemical bags hooks should not be used. When handling them safety glasses, glous, overall and boots must be used. How ever if by mistake spill it should througly wash with water and if burnt immediately see a doctor with the MSDS. if englufed by mistake see  a doctor with the MSDS.

Third thing is when you are happen to clean what ever the blocks inside the tanks, first should check whether enough oxygen is there by using a gas detector. If oxygen is less should use oxygen ceylinder. To move down should use a ladder which obey triple points touch theory.

When you are going when dark in the treatment plant you should use a torch.
