Economies strong enough to make it a win-win proposition. Carbon neutral economy is great if you can afford its cost without negatively impacting the community by outcomes worse than carbon.
It seems like it's the ongoing trent at the moment. Green initiatives are sprouting all over, and large companies are adopting lower carbon footprints as part of their mission statements. Ofcourse, this is especially important as companies are inlcuding it in their marketing mix as consumers are becoming more and more aware of the companies/industries that take upon such initiatives. Companies need to show a sense of corporate responsibility towards the environment to back up their Brand nowadays in efforts to becoming more prosperous.
