Hi Samar,

I never, ever use Google translate. I will use Al-Maani or Wordreference. I also go to Proz or Wikipedia. I try to depend on myself.

That being said, I would like to learn how to use a CAT Tool and become expert in it.

Hi, thanks for inviting me, i dont use any apps in my transaltion....but sometimes i use dictionaries when i need to look something up....and if you want my opinion  whoever is using apps for translation is  not professional at all you cannot put a whole text and expect that it is gonna turn out great...you have to do it manually so you could check the gramer ,context, spelling etc. i hope that my answer is fulfilling.

This always depends on the language to and from you are translating. Google Translate by Google is amazing for non crucial document, anything beyond that you need to use paid services. Fiverr for exaple is now available on the IOS and soon it will be availbale for Android,1 document translation cost around5 USD their. I've tried for11 languages so far, it's great (depending on the freelancer of course)

Hi Samar,

For small text translations, I use google translate, but only if the translation is from/into English.

I would use a good vocabulary though, you get more experience if you depend on yourself effort.

Have a nice day,

Eslam
