Explain the difference between teaching and educating?

Teaching can be explaining something or taking a topic and discussing it with others or someone but if he/she or many people (they) dont understand what is been discussed or learn it its just teaching and you have done your job but end result can be anything but if someone understands it throughly and then uses it in future will be education as he/she/they gained the knowledge which can passed on as well.

education is holistic, it includes development of the intellectual,physical ,moral domains . education should be usufel in life . while teaching is a singular concept spacific method to include the domains of education because the term of education is commenly used by english speakers to name a number of things :1- the term education is used to name the process in which someone ( student) undertakes to learn something worthwhile under the guidance of  someone ( teacher) within  some physical, social and cultural  setting and  context

2- the term education is also sometimes used to name teaching  for example, mr adel gave me agreat  education in math mean that mr adel did some great teaching

3- the term education is sometimes used to name the outcome of a successful teaching and studying under the guidance, viz .

learning for example ihave agood education in correct grammer and spelling  - meaning- i have learned my grammer and spelling well

Teaching is supplying a series of facts for the student to make of them what they will with guidance. Educating is supplying the facts and then going with the students on the journey to uncover the knowledge that the facts supply. The application of thought processess.
