We have a telecom network marked on GIS. we make reports of our coverage area manually after a period. Now we want to use GIS to prepare this report for us automatically. How can this be done. Do we have to add an attribute in parcels table and populate it with covered or out of coverage, or can we do it on a street level?
I’m not sure about that but I think if you want to get the coverage area for cellular tower in this case you already know the location of the tower and radius of coverage for each tower then you need to create buffer zone for each tower and intersect this buffer with parcels to get the covered parcels switch the selection to get uncovered
