Exhibiting good manners is something that is part of your good-natured character such as having appropriate ettiquette, friendy attitude, speaking in a honest, warm tone but being polite is acting like you have good manners in order to be appropriate for that specific situation. One is authentic behavior, the other is expected.

U can be polite, but then u cheat , u steal , u speak badly about people behind their backs, u can be polite & yet the worst person in the world.
