One of the alternate impediments of utilizing SQL is the regular formation of Insert and Help With Dissertation Update contents utilized by SQL processors, which require expanding grammar checking and parsing, more than what is required to transfer information into the database say by simply utilizing FTP or whatever another emblematic dialect.

If the small software you're referring to requires DB-like storage then it is always a good option to go with SQL database. It is simply more standarized and portable.

And in case your small software get any bigger, you will appreciate the lexury of having the option to switch to a better/faster SQL DB engine

If size, performance, and/or installation time is an issue, you can always start with SQLite DB which have been ported to MANY languages and is very well documented and supported. Check it out: www.sqlite.org
