You need to be very good in Process and operations. If you are working in some Process Industry than should have good knowledge of DCS/PLC , depends that which programme your organiztion has been using.Apart from this you should know how to use HYSIS, MS VISIO etc

And a good Chemical Engineer is one who masters in Process and Operations.
