main difference b/n electrical engg and electronics engg is that Electrical engineering generally deals with high voltage engineering and electronics engg deals with low voltage.
Electrical engineering is the study of all electrical equipments and generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical energy.
Power electronics is the study of all electronics devices (BJT,MOSFET, IGBT) with that power electronics engg sees how Electrical energy utilize efficiently.

Electrical Engineering deals with medium to high voltage(& high current) electrical generation, transmission and use.
Electronics Engineering deals with low voltage ( & low current) devises and equipments including telecommunication equipemnts

The only difference between electrical and electronic engineering or circuits is the use of or lack of use of electronic components (active components). For example if you rectify power using a transformer, then your circuit is an electrical circuit but if you use  electronic parts like transistors, diodes etc. then you have an electronic circuit.  So the size of the voltage or current has nothing to do with the nature of the engineering discipline. There are electronic circuits dealing with KVolts and KAmper.

Electrical Engineering deals with the High voltages Rating in Kilo and Megas while Electronics Engineering deals with Low voltages Like millis , micro etc

Electronics Engineering is mainly includes Transistors, diodes etc. In simple words to understand, power generation, sub stations, distribution upto your portable radio is electrical engineering part however whatever is happening within your radio is function of electronics engineering (Varying frequency by LCR circuit etc).

main difference is voltage. in electrical engineering we study votage above12 volts and in electronics voltage is12volts or below also in electronics there is only DC.

Both engineering disciplines are electrical in nature, but partways in its application. Electronics deals only with low-volts electricity while the electrical engineering deals with low, medium and high voltages. In other words, Electronics Engineering is a "SON" of Electrical Engineering.

It i smainly the voltage as the lower voltages and mostly when complication circuits and components are introduced then it is Electronic.
