I guess the priority is for the experienced ones they don't have to be old but work experience is essential. Fresh grad also have  a good opportunity. The people who are having a hard time, in my opinion, are the mid career one. The ones who have2 or3 years experience in different fields and they want to settle down.

Yes Experience is always given prefrance and i think experience must deserve prefrance over fresher.

But to some extent fresher should also given chance. If a company has three vacancy for same position they must opt two experienced and one fresher.

Experience definitely takes precedence in managerial jobs where decision making authority requires the person to have a practical experience into the respective Line of Business.  That being said, freshers do have a key role to play in non managerial positions considering that these are the resources who bring with them fresh and innovative ideas and based on my personal experience in dealing with such employees, have had a wonderful experience with them considering their enthusiasm to work as well as they being instrumental in making the work place truly vibrant  and highly motivated.

Not in the present market, organisations are opting for employees that have lower package expectations. So young single employees that have no major financial or personal commitments are likely to be considered for a job first.

Nowdays Mostly poeples are giving prefrence to youngblood instead of experienced  person because they demand less and work more.
