What is mentoring? What are the differences between mentor and mentee?

Mentoring is the art of passing down a particular trait or training to another person. It deals with coaching, training and advising a person on a trait for development.

A mentor is the person in charge (the trainer, coach, adviser) while a 'mentee' is the person receiving the training, coaching or support.

Mentoring deals with training and coaching.

A mentor is the person who provides training and coaching. A mentoree is the person who receive that training. 

Mentoring is an art to share knowledgeable thought with others.

A Mentor plays a role to guide, to give advice, and to support the mentee.

A good mentoring relationship provides mentees with valuable knowledge and expertise in the field.
