If you public IPs you need BGP....-But It you dont have so no need for BGP ...only two static routes-.and use IP SLA

Dear

Thanks for you answer. but i want to merge the two or more lines from different or same ISP, is it possible without BGP. bcoz my Cisco router will be connected to two different modems i suppose no need for the BGP.

Regards

Asad

Well if you wish to connect to two ISPs simultaneously on a single router, physically terminate the two links on different physical ports on the router.

Then for redundancy and load balancing, you need to configure BGP on it and set BGP peer sessions with its attributes for automatic load balancing and failover in case your primary ISP fails.

This can be achieved by tuning BGP configuration with respect to its attributes. Feel free to contact at my skype ID (mansoor.ahmed88) for further assistance and help if required.

Mansoor
