Being strict and being rude and show off is different some bosses want to insult their subordiantes and co workers thinking they are slaves or nothing infront of them. Such bosses get curses behind their back and people doesnt respect such people . I personally dont want to be such a boss untill unless is doing mistakes knowingly i will not be strict to them but be assertive in thoughts and convey the message that careless, low productity and non commitment will not be tolerated.

A boss should be humble and down to earth if he /she wants to earn respect and people backing with all support.

I lead by example. I do not, nor do I need to show that I am the boss. It is a given. Moreover, I am a partner and leader and mentor to my team. They know I am the one who makes all the important decisions, who takes the heat, who fronts. I am just there for them. Be so too. The only way it can work perfectly.

I dont know if this is correct, this is just my perspective i think "no matter how strong and powerful you are inside your company, and how your subordinates respects you as what you are, if your attitude is very offensive, at the end of the day you will find out that you are like stepping in a poisonous stings"
