Each vendor has their own certification.Cisco has it's own certification track. There is a level of certification.Such as for Cisco

CCENT

CCNA

CCNP

CCIE

There are also sub categories of these certifications like as

CCNP(Voice)

CCNP (Switching and Routing) etc

Here you can check details for Cisco track:

http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/certifications/index.html

Apart from Cisco vendors there are lots of other IT vendors. Most of the vendor exams are handled by the VUE or Prometric

You can check the list of vendors from their site

VUE: http://www.pearsonvue.com/programs/

Prometric: https://www.prometric.com/en-us/for-test-takers/pages/schedule.aspx?Type=schedule

However, not all the vendors are based on Networking. Each vendor has each specific products and solutions. You really need to check vendor who has hardware and networking products and appliances like as

Cisco,

Juniper,

CompTIA,

Fortinet,

Huwaei

F5 etc.

But there is no doubt that Cisco and Juniper is widely renowned.
