I am planning to publish my own ebook on Amazon kindle, do you think it's a good idea? What do you advice?

I have never tried that before but I honestly think that you should have other titles out (Avaliable for free) there before you go ahead and publish a book, people usually look up authors and check out their previous books and online content before they get their credit cards involved.But I think Amazon makes a free sample avaliable for everyone like Google book store, So, Why not! Best of luck with your book :)

the cover and description of your book are the2 most important things.

Also please check that your book is properly formatted  and check the spelling too! For example, advice is a noun, advise is a verb...

Just ensure that the content puts the following into consideration

1.  Human interest
2. Its audience( the people to whom you are writing to)

It is a great idea to pursue. Just remember if you want to get paid, you will probably need a PayPal account. Depending on where you are (especially in the Middle East) there is the likely hood that you cannot create one. For example in Lebanon, you cannot create a PayPal account since the service is not yet available. So be sure to double check that before publishing your book.

And read the fine print on the agreement you are accepting.

Great Idea. Did you know that the first generation of it was sold out in five and a half hours!! If your book is good enough I think your going to hit a home run.
