In my opinion, the most valuable training for school managers today goes beyond administrative skills. It should include leadership development that focuses on emotional intelligence, communication, and change management. Support networks are also essential. Mentorship programs and communities of practice, where leaders can share challenges and solutions in a non-judgmental space, often provide more lasting development than formal training alone.

In short, the most valuable development opportunities today help school leaders become reflective, adaptive, and people-centered, in addition to being efficient administrators.
