Supply Chain Management is no rocket science! It is a human-made job to be done by human beings. If those who selected you were capable and knew their job, they must have made a good selection.  This why you are there! You should not necessarily be a space scientis or mathematician. Like every new comer, keep your eyes and ears open, be psitive, pragmatic and practical, listen to the advice of your seniors, say sorry if you are wrong and learn from your mistakes.  You will add value, will not have any problems and grow within your department and organziation.
