the same way you deal with your wife, honestly try it.you will get results.

i usually concentrate on the outcome.we sometimes follow a road sign and feel it is really wrong or long, but we respect  the law and do arrive at destination.so we will do the same at our company.

just concentrate on the result and outcome and just follow the system even if you don't approve it or like it.

good results will help bring your manager to agree with you, people agree with people who get results.

concentrate on results and everyone will be with you

Well everyone has a different way to see problems and solutions. It may be that the working way may be different, but ultimate goal of both of us is to achieve company's strategic objectives. So, I will try my best to present my case with enough supporting data as well as provide couple of options related to a problem and explain him why my proposal is best among others.. I will also ask him to provide context, and details if he choose to go with other option..

educate him!

Yes I can understand this situation where you have blindly follow your boss/higher ups knowing what they think is wrong , still you follow it and then it leads now where same as a bind folded horse which runs to unknown direction where the owner of horse wants it to run with the wagon.

Such situations are tricky and you dont love the situation but as Shahzad said we all have families ,commitments so we all live a insecure life specially for work so we blindly follow which we dont like not matter what .

Mustafa accept it or not, he is your boss and you have to bear this situation diplomatically. Though, he is not in agreement with you but till the time you have a new opportunity face him patiently. Try not to drag the discussion with him long. Take the instructions from him and communicate the result or reports via email or in written so that God forbid, in future, if any such situation arise where you have been asked present the details of work so you are in secure position.

Side by side effectively search for some good job and never have complaining or bad mouth for your employer. Be straight but communicate your reasons gently and professionally.

Well I always have written communication through emails , so that if something goes wrong one shouldnt become scapegoat.

It highly depends on the person, so a basic solution is dificult. But the worst thing you can do is presenting a plan that is in your opinion better.
