Well, people say use of scada, plc, autocad or knowing about circuit and motor will enrich your knowledge, but I will suggest you to apply as an internee in any company related to your knowledge, and try to polish your skills and gain experience, pick up one field, whether it is construction, mechanical or electronics, then do your work in that field, using softwares will not enrich your knowledge.

Dear,

Better first to be knowledgeable of basic electrical circuits and get more acquainted with electrical and instrument symbols. Study and analyze more kinds of electrical circuit diagrams and learn how they are applied. Know the logic of the circuit and the functions/logic of each circuit devices and members of the circuit. Moreover importantly, after gaining some more knowledge and understanding of the circuit implications, try to work-out yourself in an electrical laboratory or shop and try to mimic sample the types of control circuits by assembling and wiring it yourself, then functioning it with loads. For the basics, I recommend to try first motor starting and lighting circuits. The more easier and systematic way of learning and be trained and to understand (aside from research and classroom lecture) is to apply it in actual hands-on practice. I hope to give you some idea & understanding.

Good luck.
